Campaign Story

Hi we are the Moore’s, Patrick and Megan Moore we have been together for 9 years and have been trying to have a baby for 5 and half years. The month we got married was when we started to try for our baby. I had a feeling something was wrong a couple months in so I went to my doctor and she did an ultrasound and found that I had a septate uterus and referred me to a fertility specialist. The doctor ran a bunch of tests and confirmed I was born with this and suggested surgery so that’s what we did and once everything was healed he said we could try for a baby naturally because everything else looked great besides me being diagnosed with hypothyroidism, I was put on medication for that and my numbers looked great. My husband was also checked out and everything with him is perfect! So we tried for a year naturally and nothing ever resulted from that. So I made an appointment with another doctor for a second opinion and he suggested we try an IUI so we did that and it was unsuccessful. We decided to take a little break. I did a lot of research and switched all my house and personal products to non-toxic, tried acupuncture, herbs, and so much more. Then we went to another doctor and we were in the process of trying another IUI but it did not work out. We have been patiently waiting to start our family. Going through this process has not been easy but I am very grateful for my husband I don’t know how I would have gotten through any of this if he wasn’t by my side. We have never tried a fundraiser before so we thought we would give it a shot. We are truly very grateful to anyone willing to donate and would help us so much financially with this journey. We are so ready to start this journey and even a dollar would help and again thank you for hearing our story.
